At the Media Art Festival, Eduard Kac, a pioneer of telepresence art, will launch a challenge promoted by the United States Embassy in Italy: “Invent an idea to create an artwork in cosmic space”.
Teams formed by 100 students will work with Scratch, the free coding language developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. With the help of coaches from the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, the students will develop works that bring together art, animation and games.
