Hackreativity, the original creativity marathon that was held yesterday at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, in collaboration with Lazio Innova, as part of the Lazio Creativo Programme, matched local digital skills with creative talent.

 

For an entire day, 20 teams formed by students worked on developing digital tools to promote and “accelerate” the success stories of “Lazio Creativo,” a narrative and photographic report on creativity in Lazio, which annually showcases the 100 most innovative and interesting young talents in Lazio.

 

Here are the winners that will receive awards today at the Maxxi “Spazio D” during the last day of the Media Art Festival.

 

First place went to “Seangolare App,” a project developed by Team “ApStart By” from the Liceo Lazzaro Spallanzani in Tivoli with Cinzia Dell’Omo’s By the Sea, a lab for the design, production, mending and sales of custom-tailored wet suits for water sports. The “Seangolare App” makes it simple to purchase these products on-line.

 

 

Second place went to “Knowing Plants,” a project by Team “Garibaldi 2” from the Istituto agrario Giuseppe Garibaldi in Rome developed with Deltastudio, the group of architects who created Albula. “Knowing Plants” is an interactive urban device that addresses the issue of pollution in the Tiber River. The app allows users to interact with users in the “Discussion Room.”

 

 

Third place went to “Noeo,” a project developed by Team Link from the Liceo Lazzaro Spallanzani in Tivoli with Psychologist Giorgia di Noeo. The app developed with App Inventor improves the quality of participation by transforming ideas into socially useful projects.
