It is considered one of the most important Russian events for contemporary art. The CYFEST new media art festival, which is held in Saint Petersburg, is organised by the Cyland Media Art Lab. This is the eleventh edition of the festival.

On February 2-12, 2018, the festival presents “Weather Forecast: Digital Cloudiness”: creations by artists and coders who invite the audience to look forward and forecast the weather on the coexistence between real and digital worlds.

The varied programme also includes activities organised with Italy. Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6, Valentino Catricalà, Director of the Media Art Festival, will hold a lecture dedicated to “Rethinking Cinema And Media Trough Media Art” and present the next edition of the Media Art Festival that will be held in Rome on May 17-19, 2018.
