The “Human+. The Future of Our Species” exhibition (Feb.-July 2018, Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome) was the inspiration for the “Mix User Experience – MUX” Competition launched by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni Museum.
The contest is open to all students, as well as professionals, creatives, makers and designers. The objective is to make the exhibition focus accessible to the audience at large through the development of creative projects (applications, videos, installations, etc.) that will help visitor interact with the showcase works or suggest new applications to attract new audiences to cultural events.
The challenge for experts is to augment the “user experience” of works through technological solutions that will allow viewers to interact with the works. Other fields of experimentation are also possible to increase the involvement of prosumers by developing different applications of the creative and technological solutions employed by the artists.
