Chris is an Artist and Filmmaker originally from Rotherham in South Yorkshire.
His work is characterised by experimental documentation of communal perspectives and memories regarding geographical location.
After graduating from the Royal College of Art, he won the 2010 Deutsche Bank Award in Art, for his collaborative project with Maria Anastassiou – Unravel; the longest hand painted film in Britain. It resulted in over 100 interactive public events across the UK, including Tate Britain, BFI Southbank, CCA Glasgow, No.w.here, AND Festival, Turner Contemporary and installations at IKON Gallery, Chisenhale Gallery, and the National Media Museum.
