Dario D’Aronco lives and works in Rotterdam (NL)
He obtained his BA in Rome at the Academy of Fine Arts, he took part in the advanced course for Visual Arts at Fondazione Ratti in 2011 and recently he has been artist in residence at the post-academic institute Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht (NL).
He has exhibited in several national and international museums including: IAC of Lyon (FR), CC Strombeek of Grimbergen (BE), Vleeshal of Middelburg (NL), Marres in Maastricht (NL), the Macro and the Volume Foundation! a Rome. He has be grantedwith the Werbjigrage Bewezen Talent from the Mondriaan Fonds, O&O grant from the CBK Rotterdam.
His research is rooted in music, philosophy and science. With particular attention to how the image is built in relation to technology and its conceptual potential. Recently he has focused his attention on sculptural works that examine the relationship between virtuality and reality.
