Hannibal Andersen (born 1985, Copenhagen) is an artist focusing on socio-economic questions such as the representation of power and the transformation of capital, that is, how value is converted from one form into another – e.g. creativity, labour, information, competence, etc. into money and back. Through a variety of media, and often site-specifically, Hannibal engages in these economic mechanisms to produce material for a broader analysis. Living and working in Copenhagen, Hannibal holds an MA in Sound Art from UAL, London, and an MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art.
