William Latham is well known for his pioneering work in 3D computer art and evolutionary interfaces in the late eighties and early nineties developed at The IBM UK Scientific Centre in Winchester. His works from this period were shown in several major International touring exhibitions supported by the British Council. He then worked for thirteen years as a Creative Director initially in the music industry for three years, then in the computer games industry developing games for Xbox, SONY Playstation and PC for a range of publishers including SONY SCEE, Warner Bros, Universal Studios and Virgin Interactive. He became Professor of Computer Games and Computer Art at Goldsmiths in 2007. He is a Co-Director and founder of SoftV who specialise in developing serious games for patients for The Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL.Recent research work has focussed on the development of novel interactive interfaces for Virtual Reality for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR devices for 3D computer art
