Today and tomorrow, Sept. 5-6, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will host the kick-off meeting for Project ENLIGHT – European Light Expression Network, implemented as part of the Creative Europe Programme.
Annaleda Mazzucato (Project Manager), Valentino Catricalà (Artistic Direction) and Ilaria Graziano (Project Manager) will participate on behalf of the FMD together with researcher and sound artist Toby Heys for the Metropolitan Manchester University, Andy Brydon for Curated Place (Manchester) and Hage Tapio for the I/O/Lab Centre.
The project aims to develop new audiences for visual arts addressing light from a vast multidisciplinary point of view. Project ENLIGHT will used the “artists in residence” format to associate the brand with high quality experiences and innovative light art works. This is a new field that requires further attention from the world of art and culture, in general.
